Hey, Elon Musk: Did you know Arnold Schoenberg is a crater on Mars?
Why BeethovenWell, he is.
Along with many other composers and musicians – Dvorak, Glinka, Gluck, Sibelius, Vivaldi, Mahler and Stravinsky, Verdi and Wagner.
Worth a visit when you’re next up there.

What about Holst?
They’re still looking for a pentagonal crater.
I wish he would go to Mars.
My cousin has a crater on the Moon.
“Fryxell,” if you happen by there.
OK, we’ll call in for a ‘cuppa’.
Out of this world, Mr. Lebrecht!
Yes, he knows. He’s going to build the first concert hall in Mars just there.
Is it Mercury rather than Mars?

It is indeed Mercury, not Mars that has craters named for artists.
Much of Schönberg does indeed sound like that.
It’s the feeling when you breath the air of another planet.
